Picture Quest Continued

I keep running into dead ends. Earlier this week, I called the Graves County Public Library. They checked the yearbooks in their genealogy department and didn't find anything. They suggested I call the Graves County board of education, which I have yet to do. I needed a break from all the phone calls.

On the coffee table in my living room, I have a framed photo of my grandpa and grandma taken sometime in the 1980's. Every time I follow a lead to no avail, I look at his smiling face and think, "Come on, Grandpa! Someone must have taken your picture as a child. Where are you hiding?"

I've also considered the possibility of tracking down any relatives of his foster parents. He lived with them for ten years, so I find it hard to believe in all that time he was with them, no one took any pictures. They didn't have any of their own kids, so tracking down relatives will be hard. Who knows what happened to all their stuff after they passed? I hope someone out there has some family albums, but whoever they are, they'll be tough to locate.
