An Obituary for Henry Rich
I found this obituary in an old photo album that used to belong to my 3x great-grandma Eliza Rich. I just got the album last Thursday - thanks Dad, for making sure my sister and I get
all the family history stuff from our mom's side of the family!

I searched Henry Rich on findagrave and got this: http://tinyurl.com/hctgab6
Once I realized the newspaper clipping I was holding was an actual piece of paper from 1893, I very carefully put it back in the album, and took this photo with my phone so I don't have to keep handling the paper every time I want to look at it.
Here's a picture of the photo album. The binding is falling apart and the latches don't work anymore,

Note: Everything I've seen in the census records about Eliza indicated that she couldn't read or write, so someone else must have written her name in here for her.
Also, I know that Eliza lived in Roscommon from 1899 to 1907, so she must have gotten this album and started adding pictures to it during that time span. Here is a border crossing record from 1915 that gives proof of when she lived in Roscommon. This record, like the census records, notes that she was illiterate.
So...I'm trying to work out who Henry Rich was. He was married to Sarah Ann Wellman. Eliza's maiden name was Wellman, too, so maybe Sarah Ann and Eliza were sisters. Sarah Ann was born in 1832 and Eliza in 1834, so it's a possiblity.
